Eternal has been dedicated to the “Safety, no pollution” program, to fulfill our long-term goal of growth with persistence.

Being fully aware of and committed to its social responsibilities, Eternal devotes more than 15% of its total annual capital investment for new equipment to the installation of safety and environmental protection-related systems.

 To improve the qualities of environment and to follow the government's policies , in  terms of management of wastewater, air emissions, solid waste and the use of chemical, Eternal not only conforms to government environmental standards, but also proactively reduces waste volumes through minimization, recycling and researches of green products. Eternal's commitment to protecting our environment was commended in 1986 by the National Industries Association with award of environmental excellence and was granted ISO 14001 certificate in July 1999. As regards to safety in the workplace, beginning in 1995, Eternal was credited for three consecutive years by the Taiwan Council of Labor Affairs as a  Voluntary Protection Programs organization. Furthermore, Eternal is now enthusiastically engaged in the “gardening” of its plants, creating better working environments for all its employees.
